Where to begin! My husband and I eloped with a few close friends and family. They helped us arrange a date/time in less than 3 months. Newtown Castle went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our wedding day an absolute fairytale. We were able to take stunning pictures both in and outdoors. We hardly had to lift a finger with the venue decorations. Cannot say enough good things.

Before heading over to Ireland, we researched things we might want to see along our exploring routes. Castles, Abbeys & Friaries were always considered. If they were off the beaten path, or presented a challenge to find, then that almost guaranteed they would be included on our list and add to our adventure. Newtown made the list and it did not disappoint. It was interesting that it is in fact, part of the Burren College of Arts. They have done a great job with the restoration. What we liked most though was the friendliness of the people we met there. It was a very drizzly & dreary day (perfect for the Burren) yet everyone in the Cafe were friendly & helpful. We left there very pleased that we were able to find it and visit.
